Travel-ready VR case for Nintendo Switch

This red hard-shell case fits the Nintendo Switch OLED model from 2021 along with a Pro Controller, dock, charging grip, AC adapter, game cartridges, HDMI cable and Joy-Con straps. The interior measures 13.1 by 10 by 5.5 inches and weighs 3.77 pounds. High-density sponge lining cushions every component against impact and scratches during transport.

IP67 waterproof rating explained

The case meets IP67, meaning it can survive immersion in one metre of water for up to 30 minutes. Rain, splashes and brief submersion will not reach the console or accessories inside. The seal is not rated for deeper or longer exposure, so it should not be used for diving or prolonged underwater storage.

ABS shell and moulded interior

The outer shell uses ABS plastic to resist crushing, scuffing and drops. Pre-cut grooves hold each item firmly in place, preventing shifting when the case is carried or stacked. The secure latch keeps the lid closed under vibration, while the compact footprint allows it to slide into overhead compartments or backpacks without wasting space.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the red case or a different colour for my Switch OLED?

The red version matches the dimensions and capacity shown for the Nintendo Switch OLED model (2021); other colours use the same 13.1*10*5.5 inch shell and 3.77 Pound weight, so capacity is identical.

What does the IP67 rating actually protect when I am travelling?

IP67 means the case survives 30 minutes at 1 metre underwater and keeps rain out during normal travel; the ABS shell and high-density sponge then shield the console, Pro Controller and dock from drops and knocks.

Does the case design limit which accessories fit through the lid seal?

The interior grooves are moulded for the Switch console, Pro Controller, dock, Joy-Con Charging Grip, AC adapter, game cartridges, HDMI cable and Joy-Con straps, all closing under the same waterproof lid.
