Kit Contents

This 17 piece kit supplies six metal joysticks, four paddles, two D-pads, three screwdrivers, one adjustment tool and a storage bag. It is designed for owners of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller model 1797 who want to refresh or customise their gamepad. The package provides every component needed for a complete thumbstick and paddle overhaul.

Compatibility Limits

The accessories fit only the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller identified as model 1797 and will not align with other controller revisions. Users must verify their controller model before purchase because the mounting points and paddle slots differ on earlier or later hardware. No other console or third-party gamepad is supported by this kit.

Build and Daily Use

Thumbsticks combine premium silicone with metal for a textured grip, while paddles and D-pads are full metal for added durability. The included screwdrivers and tool allow straightforward removal and installation without extra equipment. A supplied bag keeps the spare parts organised during transport or storage.

Questions about this item

How do I decide which of the 6 swap joysticks and 2 D-pads to install first?

The kit includes six joysticks of varying heights and shapes plus two D-pad styles; start with the standard concave sticks and faceted D-pad for a familiar feel, then swap to taller domed sticks or the cross D-pad for shooters or fighters.

What does the 17-in-1 count mean once the kit is on my Elite Series 2 controller?

You receive every replaceable surface the controller offers — six thumbsticks, four rear paddles and two D-pads — so you can mix heights, grip textures and paddle layouts without buying extra parts.

How does the kit attach to the model 1797 controller and what tools are needed?

All pieces are magnetic or screw-on; the three included screwdrivers and the pry tool handle every fastener, so no external tools are required.
