Wesco 240060 Nose Prongs

These nose prongs are built for yard work that demands a secure grip on heavy loads. They suit landscapers, contractors and serious gardeners who move dense material with wheelbarrows or carts. The orange finish makes them easy to spot on a busy site. They arrive new and ready for immediate use.

1,000 lb load capacity

The rated load capacity of 1,000 lb is the figure that determines whether these prongs match the job. If the material you handle stays within that limit, the prongs will hold. Exceeding it risks failure, so check the weight of your typical loads before buying.

Pair fits wheelbarrow and cart setups

Supplied as a pair, the prongs install on compatible wheelbarrows or carts to create a stable lifting point. Their compact depth of half an inch keeps the profile low, while the two-and-a-half-inch width and three-inch height provide a broad contact surface. No extra hardware is mentioned, so verify fitment with your existing equipment.

Questions about this item

How does the 1,000 lb load capacity translate when the prongs are fitted to a wheelbarrow?

The pair is rated to carry up to 1,000 lb when properly installed on a compatible wheelbarrow or cart, so the combined load of material and container should not exceed that figure.

What mounting pattern do the prongs use to attach to the frame?

Each prong measures 1/2 in deep by 2 1/2 in wide by 3 in high overall, so they fit frames with matching bracket dimensions and hole spacing.

Will the 1/2 in depth and 2 1/2 in width clear my wheelbarrow's existing brackets?

The prongs have an overall depth of 1/2 in and width of 2 1/2 in, so they will fit brackets that accept those exact outside dimensions.
