Antimicrobial scissors for clean workspaces

These Westcott 14643 scissors combine stainless steel blades with antimicrobial plastic grips to inhibit bacterial growth on the handle surface. The eight-inch straight blades are adjustable for tension, allowing precise cuts across a variety of materials. Contoured soft handles reduce fatigue during extended cutting sessions. Sold as a single unit in blue.

Suited for office and craft tasks needing hygiene

Ideal for users who value a cleaner handle surface in shared or high-touch environments such as classrooms, offices or home craft tables. The straight, sharp-tipped blades handle paper, card and light fabrics with ease. Not suited for heavy-duty industrial cutting, left-handed ergonomic requirements or specialised surgical applications.

Adjustable stainless steel blades for tension

The screw-together blade pivot lets you fine-tune blade tension to match the material, keeping cuts crisp without excessive force. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and maintains edge retention over regular use. This adjustability is the key specification that determines whether the scissors match your cutting precision needs.
