Kids' Safety Scissors for Ages 4 to 8

These 5-inch blunt-tip scissors suit children aged four to eight in classrooms or at home. The neon blue colour appeals to younger users while the symmetrical handles work for both left- and right-handed children. Stainless-steel blades cut paper and string cleanly without a sharp point. Westcott has supplied cutting tools since 1872.

Check Hand Size and Intended Materials

Verify the 5-inch overall length matches the child's grip before ordering. The blunt tips limit use to lightweight materials such as paper, card and yarn. They are not designed for fabric, heavy cardstock or any task requiring a pointed tip. One pair is supplied in retail packaging.

Stainless Steel Build With Moulded Handles

Blades are made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long edge retention. Asymmetrical moulded handles fit either hand comfortably during extended craft sessions. Rounded tips reduce puncture risk in busy classrooms. The scissors weigh 0.027 kilograms and measure 0.889 by 7.3914 by 17.1958 centimeters.
