Westcott 40-Degree Egg Crate Grid 33-inch #2835

33-inch Egg Crate Grid for Westcott Softboxes

This 33-inch egg crate grid is designed specifically for the Rapid Box Octa XL and Switch Octa-M softboxes. It narrows the beam angle to 40 degrees, giving photographers and videographers precise directional control over their lighting. The heavy-duty nylon construction ensures durability for professional studio or location work. It attaches quickly using hook-and-loop fasteners on the softbox recessed edge.

Suited for controlled directional lighting.

This grid suits professionals who need to contain light spill and create defined shadows and highlights with their Westcott modifiers. It is not for users who require a broad, unfocused soft light spread across a large scene. Buyers without a compatible Rapid Box Octa XL or Switch Octa-M softbox cannot mount this grid. It also does not fit standard rectangular or smaller octagonal softboxes from other lines.

Check softbox model and recessed edge before

Verify that you own either the Rapid Box Octa XL or the Switch Octa-M, as this grid only mounts to those specific models. Confirm the softbox has the recessed edge required for the hook-and-loop attachment system. Ensure you have storage space for the collapsed grid and its included carry bag. No tools are required for installation.
