Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Westcott 750 light stand is securely locked at its 6.5 ft working height?

Extend each section fully, then twist the sure-twist locks clockwise until firm. The stand should not wobble or slide down when a small light fixture is mounted on top.

What comes with the Westcott 750 and what must I purchase separately to use it?

The box contains the black aluminum light stand itself, which collapses to 29 in. You will need to buy a light fixture, a mounting bracket or spigot, and any sandbags for stability separately.
