Westcott 5" Kids Blunt Scissors 12-Pack

This value pack contains twelve 5-inch blunt-tip scissors designed for children's hands. Ambidextrous handles suit both right- and left-handed users. Stainless steel blades resist corrosion and maintain a smooth cutting action. Assorted colours include blue, green, pink and yellow.

Upgrade from single pairs or smaller sets

A single pair is quickly lost or damaged in a busy classroom; this pack replaces multiple individual purchases at once. The jump is worth it when you need a consistent supply for a full class, craft club or large family. Insert-moulded handles add durability that cheaper single units often lack.

Blunt-tip safety limits precision cutting

The rounded tips protect young users but prevent detailed work such as intricate paper shapes or fabric notches. Stainless steel blades handle paper and light craft materials well but are not intended for heavy fabric, cardboard or wire. Buyers needing sharp points or heavier cutting should choose a different tool.

Questions about this item

How much shelf space does the 12-pack box measuring 5.9944 L x 20.5994 W x 21.209 H centimetres occupy?

The retail packaging for the 12-pack measures 5.9944 cm long by 20.5994 cm wide by 21.209 cm high, so allow roughly 6 cm depth, 21 cm width and 21 cm height on a shelf or in a drawer.

What is the common mistake when handing these 5-inch blunt scissors to a child for the first time?

Adults often forget to check that the ambidextrous finger loops actually fit the child's hand; have the child grip the scissors and make a few test cuts before starting a project.

When should the stainless-steel blades in this 12-pack be replaced?

Replace individual scissors when the blades no longer cut paper cleanly, show visible nicks, or develop rust spots that cleaning cannot remove.
