8-inch straight office scissors

Westcott ACM15554 scissors are 8 inches long with pointed stainless steel blades and blue plastic handles made from recycled material. The cushioned grips suit left- or right-handed users and are sold individually. Designed for everyday cutting in offices, mailrooms and similar settings.

Users who want ambidextrous comfort

The recycled cushioned handles and standard blade length work well for general paper, envelope and light packaging tasks. Buyers who need longer blades, heavy-duty leverage or non-pointed safety tips should consider a different model.

3 1/4-inch cut length

The effective cutting length is 3 1/4 inches, which determines how much material can be severed in a single stroke. Match this figure to the width of the items you routinely trim.
