Compact 100Ws strobe kit

The Westcott FJ100 delivers 100Ws of consistent power in a strobe roughly the size of a soda can. A 3200mAh battery provides 700+ full-power flashes per charge and can be replenished via USB-C without pausing a shoot. The integrated FJ-T1 M touchscreen trigger offers multi-brand wireless control for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Panasonic Lumix and Olympus bodies. Color temperature holds at 6000K +/-200K with recycle times from .01 to 1.60s.

Verify camera and workflow fit

Confirm your camera brand is listed among the supported systems for the FJ-T1 M trigger, noting Sony operates in manual mode only. Ensure the single-light kit matches the lighting plan for the intended session. Check that USB-C charging access is practical on location and that the backpack dimensions suit your existing gear bag or travel case.

Upgrade from speedlight or tethered monolight

Photographers moving up from on-camera speedlights gain 100Ws output, 700+ flashes per charge and wireless group control without brand-specific triggers. Studio shooters replacing AC-tethered monolights gain silent battery operation, USB-C top-up and a touchscreen interface. The jump is worth it when portability, consistent 6000K color and fast .01-1.60s recycling matter more than higher watt-second ratings.
