Sony-mount 80 Ws touchscreen speedlight
The Westcott FJ80 II S is an 80 Ws round-head flash with a built-in 2.4 GHz transceiver and a 2.8" colour touchscreen. It mounts directly on Sony cameras and works as both a speedlight and a wireless commander for the FJ system. The round head delivers even coverage on-camera or off-camera.
2.4 GHz radio control limits
The integrated 2.4 GHz radio controls FJ400 and FJ200 strobes, FJ-XR receivers and additional FJ80 units when the flash sits on the camera hot shoe. Off-camera, the unit acts as a client triggered by an on-camera FJ80, FJ-X2m or FJ-X3 trigger. Range and channel count follow the FJ Wireless Flash System specification.
Metal hot shoe and touchscreen UI
A robust metal hot shoe secures the flash to the camera and maintains electrical contacts for TTL and high-speed sync. The touchscreen replaces traditional buttons, letting you adjust power, groups and modelling light settings without menu diving. Consistent colour output is maintained across all power levels.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the Sony mount version or another mount for my camera?
Select the mount that matches your camera brand; this unit is the Sony mount model and communicates via the Sony TTL protocol on the hot shoe.
What does the 80 Ws rating mean for actual flash output?
80 Ws measures the energy stored in the capacitor; in practice it delivers significantly more light than a standard shoe-mount flash, allowing faster recycle times and greater distance coverage.
How does the 2.4 GHz transceiver limit wireless range and channels?
The integrated 2.4 GHz radio operates on the FJ Wireless Flash System, providing reliable triggering and group control within typical studio and outdoor distances without line-of-sight.
