NATO Adapter Clamp for Professional Lighting

The Westcott NATO Adapter Clamp is a compact, all-metal mounting accessory built for photographers and videographers who need fast, secure attachment of lights and accessories to NATO rails. It integrates directly with the Westcott Ice Light 3 and other compatible gear, offering a lightweight solution for on-location and studio rigs.

20 lb Load Capacity with Anti-Twist Threads

The clamp supports equipment weighing up to 20 lb (9.1 kg) while its 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist female threads prevent unwanted rotation during use. This single specification determines whether the adapter can safely handle your specific monitor, light, or microphone package.

Quick-Release Adjustable Opening

An adjustable clamp opening secures firmly to a variety of NATO rail sizes without tools, enabling rapid setup changes on set. The quick-release design speeds both mounting and teardown, while direct compatibility with Westcott Dual-Joint Brackets and the Adjustable Shoe Mount Speedlight Bracket expands configuration options.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 20 lb rated clamp actually hold on a light stand?

The all-metal clamp is rated for 20 lb (9.1 kg), so it will securely support monitors, lights or microphones up to that limit without slipping.

What threads does the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 top mount accept in practice?

The anti-twist female threads accept standard 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessories such as brackets, arms or shoe mounts, locking them against unwanted rotation.

Will the 1.77 x 1 x 0.54 inch body fit on my existing NATO rail?

The adjustable opening clamps onto a variety of NATO rail sizes tool-free, and the compact 4.5 x 2.54 x 1.37 cm body leaves room for adjacent gear.
