14 TB NAS drive for multi-bay systems

This 14 TB hard drive is built for RAID-optimised NAS enclosures with up to 24 bays. It targets power users and medium-sized businesses that need reliable 24x7 storage for archiving, backups and shared file access. The CMR recording technology supports sustained multi-user workloads.

Standard 3.5 inch SATA installation

The drive fits a regular 3.5 inch bay and connects through a SATA 6 Gb/s interface. No special tools or adapters are required beyond normal NAS drive trays. Compatibility testing with major NAS vendors reduces the risk of firmware or vibration issues in multi-drive arrays.

550 TB per year workload rating

Rated for 550 TB of annualised data transfer at a typical operating temperature of 40 °C, the drive is engineered for continuous high-intensity use rather than burst loads. A 512 MB cache and 7200 RPM spindle speed help maintain consistent throughput during prolonged multi-user access.
