Standard #10 business envelopes

These #10 envelopes measure 4.125 x 9.5 inches and come in a box of 500. The tan kraft stock is SFI certified and carries a 24 pound basis weight. They suit everyday mailing for offices, schools and home businesses.

Vellum finish and remoistening seal

The vellum surface gives a smooth feel that accepts pen, pencil and printer toner cleanly. A remoistening gum on the flap activates with moisture for a secure closure. No window means the entire face stays available for addressing or printing.

Diagonal seam construction and bulk packaging

Diagonal seams run from the bottom corners to the throat, adding strength along the edges during handling. Each box contains 500 envelopes and a master carton holds 2500 for high volume users. The flap-down layout feeds reliably through most desktop printers and folder inserters.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking early?

Moisten the adhesive strip evenly with a damp sponge or envelope moistener, press firmly for a few seconds, and let it dry before handling; avoid excess water that can cause premature sealing.

When will the 24# kraft paper show wear from repeated handling?

The 24# stock resists tearing during normal mailing; replace envelopes if edges fray, creases deepen, or the vellum finish becomes glossy from heavy friction.

At what fill thickness does the diagonal seam risk splitting?

The diagonal seam handles standard letter folds; overstuffing beyond a few millimetres of bulk stresses the seam and may cause it to separate during transit.
