Standard #10 business envelopes

These #10 envelopes measure 4-1/8 by 9-1/2 inches and use a 24 lb sand-coloured stock with recycled fibre added. The diagonal seam construction and acid-free material suit daily office mailing, invoicing and statement runs. A remoistening seal keeps the flap secure without extra adhesives.

Laser-compatible window specifications

The Digi-Clear window sits 3/4 inch from the left edge and 1/2 inch from the bottom, sized at 1-1/8 by 4-3/4 inches for standard address blocks. Laser compatibility means the window film and paper withstand fuser heat without curling or melting. The window film is not rated for inkjet printers that lay down heavy wet ink.

Easy loading and common issues

Flap-down orientation feeds smoothly in most laser trays when the stack is fanned and not overfilled. Static buildup on the clear window can cause double feeds in dry environments. Humidity swings may curl the flap, so store the box flat and reseal it between print runs.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 24# weight or a different pound rating for my mailing needs?

The 24# stock gives a substantial feel that resists tearing in high-speed laser printers while keeping postage costs low for standard #10 business mail.

How does the A-style window size affect my printed address layout?

The 1-1/8" x 4-3/4" window sits 3/4" from the left edge and 1/2" from the bottom, so design your document with the address block aligned to that exact position.

Will the remoistening seal work reliably after the envelopes sit in storage?

Yes, the traditional gummed flap activates with moisture and the acid-free, fiber-added paper prevents the adhesive from drying out or yellowing over time.
