#10 Envelope Purpose

These #10 poly window envelopes suit routine business mail such as invoices, statements and direct-mail pieces. The orange vellum finish adds quick visual identification in a busy outbox. The remoistening seal closes with a dampener or fingertip moisture. Acid-free stock helps preserve printed contents over time.

Window and Paper Limits

The diagonal seam and starburst window measure 1-1/8 by 4-3/4 inches, positioned three-quarters of an inch from the left edge and one-half inch from the bottom. This fixed layout restricts the address block to that window area. The 24-pound sulphite sheet feeds through most office printers but may jam in high-speed inserters that expect side-seam construction.

Daily Handling Notes

Each box holds 500 envelopes; a full carton contains 2500 units. The poly window resists tearing better than open-face styles yet adds slight stiffness that can affect automatic folding machines. Bright orange colour speeds sorting by eye but shows smudges more readily than white or manila stock. Recycled content meets general office sustainability policies.
