Envelope Dimensions and Construction

These open-end catalog envelopes measure 10 by 13 inches and use 28-pound stock with a centre seam. The white paper has a 92% brightness rating and a vellum finish. A remoistening seal provides closure without a window.

Mailing Volume and Privacy Needs

The box of 500 suits offices sending high volumes of documents that must stay confidential. The black Wesco inside tint blocks content visibility during transit. Buyers needing windows for address visibility or smaller quantities for light use should consider other options.

Inside Tint and Finish Benefits

The black Wesco tint prevents reading enclosed pages without opening the envelope. The vellum finish adds a professional feel and resists smudging during handling. The centre seam construction keeps edges aligned for reliable feeding through postage equipment.

Questions about this item

What paper size must the documents already be to fit inside the 10 x 13 envelope?

The envelopes accept sheets up to 10 inches by 13 inches, so standard letter or legal pages folded once will fit comfortably.

Will the black Wesco tint still hide the contents if I reuse an older envelope with a worn seal?

The black Wesco inside tint is printed on the envelope itself and does not depend on the remoistening seal, so opacity remains the same regardless of seal condition.

How can I confirm the 92 % brightness and vellum finish match the order once the box arrives?

Open the box of 500 and compare the white surface under neutral light; it should read 92 % brightness and show the characteristic slightly toothy vellum texture.
