#11 Open End Franklin Clasp Envelopes

These #11 open-end catalog envelopes measure 4.5 by 10.375 inches and come in a box of 100. They are made from 32# Golden Kraft paper with an SFI-certified machine finish. A metal clasp and remoistening seal provide two closure options. The center-seam construction adds strength for mailing documents.

Suited for offices mailing catalogs or reports

The open-end format and metal clasp work well for frequent access or bulky inserts. Buyers who need a window for address visibility or a peel-and-seal closure should look at other styles. The 32# paper weight may not protect heavy or fragile contents without extra packaging. These envelopes are not padded or water-resistant.

Metal clasp and remoistening seal included

The metal clasp allows reusable fastening without adhesive. The remoistening seal offers a traditional gummed closure when a permanent seal is required. Both features are built into the flap, so no separate accessories are needed. The box contains 100 envelopes ready for immediate use.

Questions about this item

What size documents fit inside the 4.5 x 10.375 inch open-end envelope?

The envelope accepts sheets up to 4.5 by 10.375 inches; standard letter paper folded once or flat A5 sheets will fit through the open end.

Can the metal clasp be reused after the remoistening seal is activated?

Yes, the metal Franklin clasp operates independently of the remoistening flap seal, so you can open and close the envelope repeatedly without damaging the clasp.

How can I confirm the envelopes are SFI certified when the box arrives?

Look for the SFI Certified mark printed on the box and on the golden kraft envelopes themselves; the certification confirms responsible fibre sourcing.
