Perfect Size for Coins and Small Parts

These #3B open-end envelopes measure 2.5 by 4.25 inches and are made from 28 lb tan kraft paper. The centre-seam construction and vellum finish give a smooth feel for writing or labelling. Each box contains 500 envelopes with a remoistening seal for secure closure.

Holds Up to Daily Sorting and Filing

The 28 lb stock resists tearing when loaded with coins, stamps or hardware. SFI-certified kraft fibre maintains stiffness after repeated handling, so envelopes do not curl or jam in drawers. The open-end flap stays flat, allowing quick filling and easy stacking in trays.

Replaces Flimsy Sleeves and Bulk Bags

Upgrade from thin glassine sleeves that rip at the seam or loose poly bags that slide off shelves. The jump is worth it when you need a uniform, writable surface that keeps contents visible and organised. Not suited for buyers who need windowed envelopes or larger document formats.

Questions about this item

Will the 28# Roptex kraft paper hold up to daily handling without tearing?

The 28# Roptex kraft construction resists tearing during repeated opening and closing, and the SFI-certified material maintains its strength over extended use.

Does the remoistening seal work without any extra adhesive or tape?

Yes, the built-in remoistening seal activates with moisture alone, so no separate glue, tape or adhesive is required to close each envelope.

Can the 2.5 x 4.25 inch size fit inside a standard #10 business envelope for mailing?

The 2.5 by 4.25 inch dimensions are smaller than a standard #10 envelope, allowing these coin envelopes to be inserted easily for combined mailing.
