Everyday Mailing Envelopes

These #6-3/4 regular envelopes suit offices, schools and home users who send standard letters, invoices or statements. The 3.625 by 6.5 inch format fits common stationery and folds cleanly into a business-size fold. A box of 500 keeps supplies on hand for daily correspondence.

Lightweight Handling

Each box weighs 4.5 lbs, so a single carton is easy to lift, store and carry between workstations. The 24 lb sulphite stock feeds smoothly through most desktop printers and copiers without jamming. Acid-free, recycled paper resists yellowing and keeps documents legible over time.

Basic Correspondence Upgrade

These replace plain white envelopes when a coloured, vellum-finish option improves visibility in a busy mail tray. The diagonal seam and remoistening seal add reliability for bulk mail runs. Buyers who need window envelopes, heavier card stock or larger catalogue sizes should choose a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking prematurely?

Moisten only the gummed strip on the diagonal seam flap, press firmly for a few seconds, and store the remaining envelopes flap-down in the original box to keep the adhesive dry.

When will the yellow sulphite paper start to yellow or become brittle?

The acid-free, recycled sulphite stock resists ageing; under normal office conditions it stays flexible and colour-stable for years of storage.

At what fill thickness does the 24 lb vellum-finish envelope begin to tear at the diagonal seam?

The 24 lb construction handles typical multi-page inserts; over-stuffing beyond the natural expansion of the diagonal seam is the first point where tearing can occur.
