Standard Business Envelope Size

These #7-1/2 regular envelopes measure 3.9375 x 7.5 inches and are made from 24 lb white sulphite paper. The stock is SFI certified with a 92 percent brightness rating and a vellum finish. They arrive new in a box of 500.

Side Seam Construction Benefits

Two side seams placed underneath create a flat front panel that feeds smoothly through laser and inkjet printers. The remoistening seal provides a secure closure without the need for tape or adhesive labels. No window means the entire face is available for addressing or printing.

Suited For High Volume Mailing

Offices sending invoices, statements or direct mail in batches of 500 will find the carton quantity of 5000 convenient for restocking. Buyers who need a window for return addresses or a heavier stock for bulky inserts should look at alternative specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the remoistening seal gum dry out and need replacing during storage?

The seal activates with moisture each use; no separate gum replacement is needed.

What limits how many envelopes can be processed continuously in a mailing machine?

The 500-envelope box capacity and 24 lb paper weight set the practical feed limit.

Do the envelopes curl or generate static heat when run through a high-volume inserter all day?

Vellum-finish 24 lb sulphite resists curl and static; no heat is produced by the envelopes themselves.
