Size & Purpose

These envelopes measure 7.5 x 10.5 inches and use 14# Tyvek construction for catalog and document mailing. The open-end format suits flat items such as reports, brochures or lightweight merchandise. Bright white stock gives a clean presentation for business correspondence. Peel & Seal closure removes the need for moisture or tape during packing.

Durability Under Load

Spun bonded olefin fibres resist tearing when the envelope is filled to capacity and handled repeatedly. The material repels water so contents stay dry in damp sorting conditions. Burst resistance protects the centre seam from splitting under pressure during transit. A full box of 500 maintains consistent performance across high-volume mail runs.

Sealing & Common Issues

The Kwik-Tak flap seals with firm pressure; insufficient pressure leaves the seam vulnerable to opening. Dust or fibres on the adhesive strip reduce bond strength, so clean hands and a clean work surface help. Overstuffing beyond the open-end opening can stress the centre seam despite the burst-resistant rating. Store flat to prevent curl that interferes with automated inserters.

Questions about this item

How well does the 14# Tyvek material hold up when the envelopes sit in a warm mailroom all day?

The 14# spun-bonded olefin resists moisture and bursting, so it stays intact through daily heat and humidity in a busy mailroom.

Do I need any special sealing equipment for the peel-and-seal closure on these 7.5 x 10.5 inch envelopes?

No equipment is required; the Kwik-Tak peel-and-seal flap closes securely with finger pressure alone.

Will standard 10 inch documents fit flat inside the 10.5 inch envelope height without folding?

Yes, the 10.5 inch internal height accommodates 10 inch pages flat, and the open-end, center-seam design makes insertion easy.
