#7H Open End Coin Envelope

The #7H open end coin envelope measures 3.5 by 6.5 inches and uses 24# tan brown kraft paper. SFI certified stock with a vellum finish provides a consistent surface for writing or stamping. The centre seam construction and remoistening seal suit everyday office mailing and filing tasks.

Practical limits of the open end format

The open end orientation places the flap on the short 3.5 inch edge, limiting insertion width for bulky contents. A single remoistening seal requires moisture each time and is not designed for repeated opening and closing. The 24# paper weight handles standard coins, stamps or folded documents but will tear under heavy or sharp objects.

Replaces lighter coin envelopes and loose bags

This box of 500 upgrades from thinner kraft envelopes that split at the seam or lack SFI certification. The jump is worth it when a department needs a reliable, archival-quality supply for daily cash handling, parts kitting or seed storage without reordering weekly.
