Standard #9 Business Envelope

These regular envelopes measure 3.875 by 8.875 inches and use 20# white sulphite paper with a vellum finish. The stock is SFI certified, acid free, and rated at 92% brightness. Side seam construction and a remoistening seal provide reliable closure for everyday mailing. Each soft box contains 500 envelopes without windows.

Ideal for High-Volume Office Mailing

Suits offices, schools, and mailrooms that send standard letters, invoices, or statements in bulk. The neutral white surface works with both laser and inkjet printers for address printing. Buyers who need security-tinted interiors, peel-and-seal flaps, or windowed styles for addressed forms should look at other products.

500-Count Box Quantity

A single box delivers 500 envelopes, while a full carton holds 2500 units for larger supply chains. This pack size determines how often you reorder and how much shelf space the stock requires. Verify that 500 per box matches your typical monthly usage before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will these 3.875 x 8.875 envelopes fit a standard #9 filing slot or mail tray?

They measure 3.875 by 8.875 inches, the standard #9 size, so they fit trays and slots made for that format.

How do you seal the remoistening flap without it sticking prematurely?

Apply moisture only when ready to mail; store the box flat in a dry area so the gum stays inactive until used.

When should I reorder if I send roughly 500 envelopes a month?

Each box holds 500 envelopes; a carton contains 2500, so one box lasts a month and a carton covers five months.
