#9 Regular Envelope Specifications

These #9 regular envelopes measure 3.875 by 8.875 inches and use 24 lb white sulphite paper with a vellum finish. The diagonal seam construction and remoistening seal suit standard business mailing. Each box contains 500 envelopes for office or bulk mailing needs.

Inside Tint and Opacity

The black Wesco inside tint provides 92 percent brightness and blocks content visibility during transit. This security feature protects sensitive documents such as invoices or personal correspondence without adding weight. The SFI certified paper stock maintains consistent opacity across the full 500 count box.

Manual Insertion and Machine Compatibility

The flap-down design works with hand stuffing and most inserting equipment that accepts diagonal seam #9 envelopes. Vellum finish reduces static buildup that can cause feeding jams in high-volume runs. Moisture-activated seals require consistent pressure; uneven sealing is the most common issue when processing large batches.

The 92 % brightness white sulphite with black Wesco inside tint blocks show-through on typical laser or inkjet output, keeping contents private.
