Product Overview

These envelopes measure 10 by 13 inches and come in a box of 100. They are designed for shipping catalogs, documents, or flat items that need secure closure. The open-end style with a metal clasp suits offices, mailrooms, and home shippers who value reusable sealing.

Recycled Material Limits

The 28-pound recycled kraft paper meets SFI certification standards for responsible sourcing. Its vellum finish resists smudging during handling but is not waterproof or tear-proof. Heavy or sharp contents may stress the center seam beyond its rated strength.

Metal Clasp Closure

A single metal clasp on the extended flap provides the primary seal, supplemented by a remoistening adhesive strip. This combination allows repeated opening and closing without damaging the envelope. Buyers who need tamper-evident or fully adhesive-only sealing should consider alternative designs.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the #97 size or another catalog envelope for 10" x 13" documents?

The #97 designation matches the 10" x 13" open-end format, so it fits letter-size pages without folding.

How does the 28# recycled kraft hold up when mailed fully loaded?

At 28# basis weight the SFI-certified Sunkraft resists tearing, and the center seam plus metal clasp keep contents secure in transit.

What does the metal clasp and remoistening seal combination actually close?

The clasp provides reusable mechanical fastening while the remoistening gum gives a permanent tamper-evident seal when needed.
