Catalog envelope for document mailing

The WESTERN STATES #97 envelope measures 10 by 13 inches and uses 32-pound Golden Kraft paper with a machine finish. A center seam and open-end design create a flat surface for large documents. Each box contains 100 envelopes with a metal clasp and a remoistening seal for secure closure.

Suited for catalogs and flat paperwork

This size fits standard catalogs, brochures and unfolded reports that must stay flat in transit. The metal clasp allows repeated opening without tearing the flap. Buyers who need a window for address visibility or a peel-and-seal closure should look at a different style.

Metal clasp and remoistening seal

The metal clasp provides a reusable mechanical fastener that does not rely on adhesive alone. The remoistening seal adds a traditional gummed flap for a permanent seal when required. Together they give two independent ways to close the same envelope.

Questions about this item

Do I need to supply my own moisture to activate the remoistening seal on these 10 x 13 envelopes?

Yes, the remoistening seal requires water or a dampener to activate the adhesive on the extended flap.

Can I use a standard metal fastener instead of the Franklin clasp on these 32 lb Golden Kraft envelopes?

The envelopes are manufactured with a built-in metal Franklin clasp; no separate fastener is needed or compatible with the existing closure.

How can I confirm the box I receive contains the full 100 count of 10 x 13 catalog envelopes?

Count the individual envelopes in the box; a full box should total 100 units and weigh approximately 6.6 lbs.
