Product Purpose

These A-8 envelopes measure 5.5 x 8.125 inches and are designed for machine insertable announcement mailings. The bright white sulphite stock delivers 96% brightness with a vellum imaging finish. Each box contains 500 envelopes suited for high-volume office or print shop use.

Who Should Use These

The rounded flap and side seam construction suit automated inserting equipment and professional correspondence. Buyers who need a window envelope for address visibility or a heavier paper weight than 24# should consider other options. The remoistening seal supports standard sealing workflows.

Critical Spec

The 1.75 inch rounded flap dimension determines compatibility with specific inserting machines and folding settings. This single measurement decides whether the envelope feeds correctly through your equipment. Verify this flap depth against your machine specifications before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I load these A-8 envelopes into my inserting machine so the 1.75" rounded flap feeds correctly?

Place the stack with the flap down and the 5.5" edge leading; the two side seams under construction keeps the envelope flat through the feeder rollers.

Will the remoistening seal on the rounded flap lose tack after the box has been open for a while?

The sulphite paper is acid-free and the seal stays usable for months if you reseal the box and store it in a dry area.

At what point does the 24# paper weight limit how many sheets I can insert before the envelope jams?

The 24# stock handles typical multi-page inserts; jamming usually comes from overstuffing rather than the paper weight itself.
