Bank Deposit Envelopes for Drive-In Tellers

These envelopes suit drive-in teller windows and night-deposit use where a secure, self-sealing pocket is required. The open-end format and double-pocket design keep cash and paperwork separated during transit. They are sold in boxes of 500 for high-volume banking operations.

Practical limits of the Pres-Stik closure

The pressure-sensitive adhesive seals without moisture and holds the flap extended until deliberately opened. It is not resealable once the bond is set, so contents must be verified before pressing the flap down. The 24# sulphite stock resists tearing but will not withstand heavy coin loads or rough automated sorters.

Installation and common issues

No equipment is needed; peel the liner and press the flap to activate the Pres-Stik seal. Misalignment during sealing is the main error — once the adhesive contacts the envelope body it cannot be repositioned. Store boxes flat in a dry area to prevent the adhesive from curing prematurely.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the single box of 500 or the carton of 2500?

A single box contains 500 envelopes and weighs six pounds; a carton holds five boxes for 2500 envelopes total.

How does the 92% brightness affect readability in a teller window?

The 92% brightness white sulphite stock gives high contrast for handwritten entries and printed receipts under typical indoor lighting.

What does the Pres-Stik closure actually seal on these open-end envelopes?

The Pres-Stik adhesive runs along the extended flap, creating a tamper-evident seal once pressed — no moisture needed.
