Open End Catalog Envelopes 10 x 13

These open end catalog envelopes measure 10 by 13 inches and come in a box of 500. They are made from 28 pound recycled ivory pastel stock that is acid free. The center seam construction provides a flat surface for addressing and processing. Suitable for mailing catalogs, reports and large documents.

Open End Format Limits

The open end style opens on the short 10 inch side for top loading of contents. This orientation works well for automatic insertion equipment but may not suit hand stuffing of thick bundles. The 28 pound paper weight sets a practical limit on the bulk and weight of inserted materials. Heavier booklets may require a stronger envelope grade.

Acid Free Archival Stock

Acid free paper prevents yellowing and deterioration of enclosed documents over time. This single specification makes the envelopes appropriate for long term storage of important records. Buyers who need only short term shipping protection may not require this feature. The recycled content also meets environmental procurement guidelines.

Questions about this item

What size envelope fits a 10 x 13 document without folding?

These open-end catalog envelopes measure 10 inches by 13 inches, so a flat sheet of the same dimensions slides in easily.

How does 28# paper weight perform when mailed?

The 28-pound stock is stiff enough to protect contents in transit yet light enough for standard letter-rate postage on typical documents.

What does the center seam construction mean for insertion?

A center seam runs down the middle of the back, giving a wide, unobstructed opening that speeds bulk loading by hand or machine.
