Product Identity

These open-end expansion envelopes measure 12 by 16 inches and use 18-pound bright white Tyvek material. The spun-bonded olefin construction provides moisture resistance and a smooth finish. Each box contains 100 envelopes with a two-inch expansion gusset for bulky contents. The peel-and-seal closure eliminates the need for moisture or tape.

Installation & Common Issues

Sealing requires only peeling the release liner and pressing the flap down firmly. The Kwik-Tak adhesive activates on contact without water or extra pressure. Misalignment can occur if the flap is not squared before pressing. Overstuffing beyond the two-inch expansion may stress the center seam and cause tearing. The lightweight material can wrinkle if handled roughly before sealing.

Ideal Users & Limitations

Suited for offices mailing catalogues, reports or sample kits that exceed standard envelope capacity. The water-resistant Tyvek protects documents during transit. Buyers who need window envelopes for address visibility should look elsewhere. Those requiring heavier-weight stock for sharp edges or automated inserting equipment may find the 18-pound material too light.
