Everyday mail and filing

Recycled content and finish

Each envelope contains 30 percent post-consumer recycled fibre and is acid free for long-term storage. A 92 brightness white vellum surface gives a clean, professional look without glare. Side-seam construction keeps the face flat for printing or labelling.

Ready to seal and store

The remoistening seal closes securely with a quick dab of moisture and the flap-down design stacks neatly in trays or cabinets. At 11.5 lbs per box the carton is easy to lift and shelf. No window means full privacy for any contents you insert.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking prematurely?

Lightly moisten the glue strip with a damp sponge or envelope moistener, press firmly for a few seconds, and avoid over-wetting so the flap does not seal before you insert the contents.

Will the 30% post-consumer recycled 24# paper yellow or become brittle in storage?

The envelopes are acid-free with 92% brightness, so they resist yellowing and brittleness far longer than standard stock when kept in a cool, dry place.

At what point does the side-seam construction split when the envelope is overstuffed?

The 24# vellum-finish paper and side seams handle typical multi-page inserts; forcing thick stacks beyond the natural expansion of the 6 x 9.5 inch body is what causes seam failure.
