Product Identity

These open side booklet envelopes measure 10 by 15 inches and come in a box of 500. They are designed for offices and mailrooms that send flat documents, catalogues or booklets without folding them.

Construction Details

The envelopes use 28 pound White Kraft paper with an 84 brightness rating and a vellum finish. Two side seams underneath add structural strength, while a 3-1/2 inch square flap with a remoistening seal provides a secure closure.

Practical Use

Loading is straightforward because the open side design accepts wide inserts easily. The remoistening glue requires moisture to activate, so very dry environments may need a dampener. They are not suited for parcels or items needing a window.

Questions about this item

How long will the remoistening seal on these 10 x 15 envelopes stay effective in storage?

The gummed flap remains usable for years when the box is kept in a cool, dry place away from humidity and direct sunlight.

What fails first when mailing heavy catalogues in these 28# envelopes day after day?

The 28-pound White Kraft paper and side-seam construction set the practical weight limit before the seams or flap give way.

Do the 500-count boxes of 10 x 15 envelopes create dust or static that affects office printers?

The vellum-finish White Kraft stock produces minimal paper dust and low static, so high-volume feeding stays clean and jam-free.
