Open Side Booklet Envelopes

These 6 x 9 inch envelopes use a 24# tan kraft stock with a vellum finish and side-seam construction. They open on the short side for easy document insertion and contain no window. The box holds 500 pieces for high-volume mailing or office filing.

Sustained mailing performance

The 24# kraft paper resists tearing during repeated handling and machine processing. Side seams keep the envelope flat in feed trays and reduce jams during long print or stuffing runs. Vellum surface accepts ink and toner without feathering across large batches.

Box quantity decision

A single carton delivers exactly 500 envelopes, so buyers needing fewer than 500 units must split the box or store the surplus. No smaller pack size is offered in this listing.

Questions about this item

How much does the 24# kraft paper weigh when a full box of 500 is used daily?

Each envelope uses 24# basis-weight kraft stock, so a full box of 500 adds noticeable but manageable mass to a mail run.

What sealing method do these open-side booklet envelopes require?

They have no window and no adhesive strip, so you must supply your own moistener, tape or sealing labels.

Will the side-seam construction jam in an older inserting machine?

Side seams run parallel to the feed path, which most legacy inserters handle without misfeeds.
