Open Side Expansion Envelopes

These open side expansion booklet envelopes measure 10 by 15 inches and feature a two inch gusset for bulky documents. They are made from 40 pound tan brown kraft paper with a vellum finish. The box contains 250 envelopes suited for high volume mailing or office filing.

Pressure Sensitive Seal Limits

The Kwik Tak pressure sensitive seal requires firm pressure to activate the adhesive bond properly. It is not a peel and strip closure and cannot be resealed once pressed. The center seam construction supports the expansion but the flap stays down after sealing.

SFI Certified Kraft Paper

The paper carries SFI certification confirming responsible forestry sourcing for the kraft stock. This single specification determines suitability for buyers with sustainable procurement policies. The 34 pound box weight reflects the 250 count quantity and paper density.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 40# weight or a heavier option for bulky catalogs?

The 40# Kraft paper with 2" expansion handles thick catalogs and multiple documents without tearing.

How much can the 2" expansion actually hold when the envelope is sealed?

The gusseted sides open to a full 2 inches, fitting substantial reports or sample packs while the Kwik-Tak seal keeps contents secure.

Does the SFI Certified paper work with standard office printers?

The Vellum finish accepts ink well for hand-addressing or labels, though the 10" x 15" size and center seam may not feed through all desktop printers.
