Fan filter for 140mm fans

This magnetic nylon-mesh filter fits 140mm fans and vents to block dust while letting air pass through. The flexible PVC frame conforms to steel, aluminium or plastic surfaces. It installs in seconds using the built-in magnets or the supplied screw holes. The white Art Deco frame measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D.

Ultra-fine mesh limits airflow resistance

The 1.5mm thick nylon mesh catches fine particles but adds measurable resistance to the fan curve. Builders running high-static-pressure fans will see a small drop in maximum airflow compared with an open intake. The filter is not suited for 80mm, 120mm or 180mm mounts because the frame dimensions and magnet spacing are fixed for the 140mm form factor.

Single-filter capacity and cleaning headroom

One filter covers a single 140mm intake or exhaust opening; a typical chassis with multiple 140mm positions needs one unit per opening. The mesh can be rinsed under water and reused indefinitely, so dust capacity is effectively unlimited as long as the user cleans it before the mesh clogs. It does not replace a dedicated HEPA or carbon filtration stage.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 120mm FF123W or the 140mm FF143W filter?

Choose the size that matches your fan or vent opening; FF123W fits 120mm units while FF143W fits 140mm units.

How much dust does the ultra-fine nylon mesh actually stop in daily use?

The ultra-fine nylon mesh catches fine dust while maintaining airflow, and the magnetic frame lets you remove it for a quick water rinse.

Will the magnetic attachment work on my aluminium case panel?

Magnets hold directly to steel surfaces; for aluminium or plastic panels you can use screws instead.
