Westward 4MRX2 Magnetic Torpedo Level 9 in 3 Vials

9 Inch Magnetic Torpedo Level

This aluminium torpedo level measures nine inches overall and carries three acrylic vials for level, plumb and forty-five degree readings. A single magnetic strip on the base holds the tool to ferrous surfaces during layout work. It is built for tradespeople and serious DIYers who need quick, hands-free angle checks on pipe, conduit or steel studs.

Three Vial Layout Coverage

The three vials give level, plumb and forty-five degree references with a stated accuracy of 0.001 inch per inch. There are no thirty-degree vials, so roof-pitch or stair-stringer angles outside those three positions must be transferred with a separate protractor. The top-read window lets you sight the bubble from above without crouching.

Aluminium Frame with Magnetic Base

The aluminium body resists jobsite abuse while the magnetic strip frees both hands when working on metal pipe, ductwork or structural steel. No V-grooves are machined into the base, so round stock smaller than the level width will not self-centre. Non-magnetic materials such as copper, plastic or wood require clamps or a separate holding method.
