Grease Elbow Adaptor for Lubrication Systems

The Westward grease elbow adaptor is a steel fitting accessory designed to connect lubrication lines at a 45.0 degree angle. It features a 1/4 In.-28 SAE-LT thread size and a 3/4 In. overall length. The yellow finish provides visibility in workshop environments. This pack of five suits maintenance technicians and automotive professionals.

Steel Construction Handles Pressure

The steel body resists deformation under normal grease-gun pressure and resists corrosion from lubricants and road salt. The 45.0 degree bend routes hose clear of moving parts without sharp kinks that restrict flow. Yellow colour helps technicians spot the fitting during inspection. No electrical or thermal specs apply to this mechanical component.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1/4-28 SAE-LT thread on the 45° grease elbow adaptor without cross-threading?

Start the steel adaptor by hand until the 1/4-28 SAE-LT threads engage smoothly, then tighten with a wrench; forcing it at the 45.0° angle is the step most people get wrong.

When should I replace the yellow steel adaptors in the pack of 5?

Replace any adaptor that shows stripped 1/4-28 threads, cracked steel at the 45.0° bend, or deformed yellow finish that prevents a proper grease seal.
