In-Dash Mount for 420SQ

This silver billet aluminium mount secures the Wet Sounds 420SQ head unit directly into a dashboard cut-out. It provides a permanent, factory-style installation for marine or automotive audio systems. The kit includes all necessary hardware to bolt the receiver firmly in place.

Verify Dashboard Opening and Clearance

Before ordering, confirm the dashboard cut-out matches the dimensions supplied with the kit. Ensure sufficient depth behind the panel for the receiver body and wiring connections. Check that the mounting surface can support the assembly and that no structural braces interfere with the installation.

Passive Thermal Management and Silent Operation

The solid aluminium construction acts as a heat sink, drawing warmth away from the 420SQ during normal use without any moving parts. This ensures completely silent operation and requires no external power draw. The powder-coated finish resists corrosion in exposed environments.

Questions about this item

Does the Wet Sounds 420SQ in-dash mount kit include the head unit itself or must it be purchased separately?

The kit supplies only the CNC billet aluminum mount and hardware; the 420SQ head unit is sold separately.

Which finish should I choose between the silver and black powder-coated versions of this mount?

Both finishes use identical CNC billet aluminum construction; select silver to match bright trim or black for a darker dashboard theme.

What does the 420 designation on this mount mean for installation in my vehicle?

It identifies the mount as engineered specifically for the Wet Sounds 420SQ head unit, ensuring the cut-out and bolt pattern match that model exactly.
