Tubing cutter for glass and brittle tubes

The Wheeler-Rex 79014 cuts glass tubing and similar brittle materials from 1/4 in up to 1 in diameter. A squeeze-and-pop chain action severs the tube in a single stroke. The replaceable chain (part 7914) extends service life for maintenance crews and plumbers.

Steel body with replaceable chain

The 5 1/2 in tool uses a steel body and steel chain for durability in field use. A steel handle gives a firm grip while the chain wraps the tube for even pressure. Replacing the chain takes seconds, so downtime stays low on repair jobs.

Light weight for overhead work

At 0.7 lb the cutter adds little fatigue during repeated overhead cuts. The one-stroke action reduces the force needed compared with rotary cutters. No power source is required, so the tool works anywhere without cords or batteries.
