Purpose-built Sealant

White Lightning All Purpose Silicone Rubber Aluminum-RTV is a cartridge-applied compound that cures to a permanently flexible, watertight bond. The aluminum-colored silicone resists water, weather, moisture and mildew without cracking, crumbling or shrinking. It adheres strongly to non-porous surfaces for interior and exterior projects. Each cartridge holds 10 oz of material.

Project Fit

This 12-pack suits contractors or serious DIYers who need a consistent supply for recurring sealing tasks on metal, glass, tile or plastic. The high-volume pack is not practical for a homeowner planning a single small repair. Buyers who need a paintable latex caulk or a specialised high-temperature formula should select a different chemistry.

Deciding Spec

The chemical compound is Silicone-Rubber, which determines that the cured bead stays rubbery and waterproof across wide temperature swings. Silicone cannot be painted and requires solvent-based cleanup, so confirm those traits match the job before opening a cartridge. The pack weight is .82 lb.
