Questions about this item

What does the 16-gauge steel mean for rigidity once the enclosure is mounted?

The 16-gauge carbon-steel body provides a rigid shell that resists flexing when fastened to a wall, keeping internal components aligned and protected.

How does the ANSI 61 powder-coat finish hold up in a typical indoor installation?

The ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coat resists corrosion and minor abrasion, meeting the NEMA 1 rating for general-purpose indoor use.

What clearance is needed behind the 6-inch-wide box for the clamps and mounting holes?

The usable opening depth is 3.88 inches, so allow at least that much space behind the 6-inch-wide enclosure for clamp operation and wall-mount hardware.
