Wiegmann N12 Wall-Mount Enclosure

The Wiegmann N12 series enclosure provides a NEMA 12 and 13 rated housing for electrical components in industrial environments. Its carbon steel body with a painted gray finish protects internal devices from dust, dirt and non-corrosive liquids. The unit measures 24 in height by 24 in width by 10 in depth and includes external mounting feet for direct wall installation. It is suited for control panels, junction boxes and instrumentation assemblies requiring a secure, rated cabinet.

14 Gauge Steel Build with Padlock Hasp

The enclosure uses 14 ga carbon steel and a seamless polyurethane poured-in-place gasket to maintain its environmental seal. A hinged solid cover secures with clamps and features a hasp and staple designed for padlocking, restricting access to authorised personnel. The usable opening depth is 9.88 in, providing space for mounted devices and wiring. An interior panel, part number 2W829, is specified for component mounting. The construction meets CSA Certified, cULus and UL Listed standards.

Upgrade from Unrated or Lower-Rated Cabinets

This enclosure replaces cabinets that lack a NEMA 12 or 13 rating or that use screw covers without padlock provision. The jump is worth it when the installation demands a gasketed, clamp-sealed door with a locking hasp to meet safety or regulatory requirements. It is not for applications needing a NEMA 4 or 4X rating for hose-directed water or corrosion resistance, nor for enclosures requiring a window or clear cover for visual inspection.
