Wiegmann N1C060804 NEMA 1 Enclosure

The Wiegmann N1C060804 is a NEMA 1 rated wall mount enclosure built from 14 gauge carbon steel with an ANSI 61 powder coated gray finish. It provides indoor protection for electrical components such as bus plugs and circuit breakers against falling dirt. The unit measures 8.0 inches high, 6.0 inches wide and 4.0 inches deep with a usable opening depth of 3.88 inches.

Verify Mounting And Panel Compatibility

Confirm the wall surface can support the enclosure weight and that the mounting holes align with your installation plan. The hinged cover uses a 1/4-turn latch for secure closure and the cover is solid without a window. An interior panel numbered 2W821 is specified for this series so ensure your components fit that panel layout.

Indoor Thermal Management And Grounding

Rated NEMA 1, the enclosure is intended for indoor use only and relies on natural convection through the solid metal body for heat dissipation. Carbon steel construction provides a grounded path when the grounding provisions are properly connected. The powder coated finish resists corrosion in typical indoor environments while the flush mount latch keeps the profile compact.
