Carbon Steel Enclosure for Industrial Line

The Wiegmann N4242408 is a NEMA Type 12, 13, and 4 rated enclosure built from 14-gauge carbon steel with a gray ANSI 61 polyester powder finish. It provides IP66 ingress protection for bus plugs and electrical components in wall-mounted industrial applications. The unit includes mounting feet and an interior panel for equipment installation.

Verify Mounting Space

Confirm the available wall area accommodates the 24-inch height and 8-inch depth dimensions before ordering. Ensure the NEMA 4, 12, and 13 ratings match the specific washdown, dust, or oil exposure conditions present at the installation site. The clamps and padlock hasp closure method requires manual access for operation and security.

Sustained Protection in Continuous Industrial

The seamless polyurethane poured-in-place gasket maintains a consistent seal during prolonged exposure to water, oil, and coolant. Solid cover construction and the painted carbon steel body resist corrosion across extended duty cycles without degradation. CSA, cULus, IEC, and UL Listed certifications confirm compliance for continuous operation in demanding settings.
