Precise 12-pack milligram scale

The Wigearss US-gf-020735 is a digital milligram scale sold as a 12-pack for laboratory and precision tasks. Each unit weighs up to 50 grams with a readability of 0.001 grams across seven selectable units. A stainless steel pan and ABS shell suit professional and home environments.

Milligram limits and calibration

Accuracy at the 0.001 gram level is sensitive to air currents and surface vibration; a variance of up to 0.003 grams is normal for this class of instrument. The scale must be calibrated with the included weight before first use and operated on a flat, stable, draft-free surface for repeatable results.

Battery power and daily handling

Two AAA batteries power the backlit LCD and sensor, with an auto shut-off after 180 seconds of inactivity to extend runtime. The tare button zeros the display for container weight, while the stainless pan cleans easily and the compact 0.18 kilogram form factor stores in a pocket or tool drawer.

Questions about this item

I need to weigh jewelry and small gemstones precisely — is 0.001g accuracy reliable enough for this use?

Yes, this scale reads to 0.001g accuracy with a 50g maximum capacity, making it suitable for weighing jewelry, gemstones, and small gold pieces. Calibrate using the included calibration weight before first use.

The scale gives slightly different readings each time — is this a defect?

A variance of up to ±0.003g is within the normal error range for milligram-level scales caused by air currents or surface vibration. Use the scale on a flat, stable, draft-free surface for consistent results.

Does this scale need batteries, and how long do they last with regular use?

This scale is battery-powered. The backlit LCD and high-precision sensor consume moderate power. An auto-off function helps preserve battery life during idle periods. Battery life varies with usage frequency.
