Universal tie clips for lavalier cables

These WindTech TC-5 clips secure lavalier microphone cables measuring .05 to .07 inches (1.45 to 1.70 mm) in diameter. The set includes three clips for use with compatible wired microphones. They provide a simple mounting solution for broadcasters, presenters and content creators who need to attach a lavalier cable to clothing.

Thermals, noise and power draw are not applicable

These passive clips have no electronic components, so they generate no heat, produce no noise and consume no power. Performance depends solely on the cable diameter staying within the stated range. Buyers needing clips for thicker cables or wireless transmitters will need a different accessory.

Questions about this item

How do I install the WindTech TC-5 tie clips on my lavalier cable?

Slide each clip over the cable so the 0.05 - 0.07 inch diameter range grips it firmly, then press the clip onto clothing fabric. The step people miss is confirming the cable sits inside the 1.45 - 1.70 mm channel before clipping.

What maintenance will the WindTech TC-5 clips need over time?

Check the spring tension periodically; if a clip no longer holds the 0.05 - 0.07 inch cable securely, replace that individual clip from the set of 3. No lubrication or cleaning is required.
