1200 W Platinum Hot-Plug Server PSU

This 1200 W Platinum-rated power supply is built for hot-plug installation in ProLiant DL380 G7 and DL580 G7 servers. It delivers up to 1200 W of continuous power while meeting 80 Plus Platinum efficiency targets. The unit accepts 100 V to 240 V input at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. It replaces part numbers 579229-001, 570451-101 and 570451-001.

Hot-plug installation with correct part matching

The hot-plug design allows removal and replacement without powering down the server, reducing downtime during maintenance. Installation requires aligning the unit with the server's power bay and seating it firmly until the latch engages. The most common issue is ordering a unit with a mismatched part number; verify that your server lists 579229-001, 570451-101 or 570451-001 before purchasing.

For ProLiant DL380 G7 and DL580 G7 owners

This supply suits administrators maintaining or repairing ProLiant DL380 G7 and DL580 G7 systems that specify the DPS-1200FB-1 A model. It is not suitable for servers that require a different form factor, wattage rating or connector pinout. Buyers needing redundant power for other chassis or higher output capacities should look at alternative units.
