Questions about this item

How do I install the PCH018 DPS-180AB-22 A power supply into a 510S or 700 chassis, and which step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the bay until the latch clicks, then firmly seat both the 6-pin and 4-pin connectors; the step most often missed is locking both power cables completely.

What maintenance will the 180W server PSU need over time?

Clean the intake vents every few months to prevent dust buildup on the internal fan; replace the unit if the fan becomes noisy or voltages drift under load.
