240 W replacement power supply for OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 small-form-factor desktops
This 240 W server power supply replaces Dell part numbers F79TD, 3YKG5, JNPVV and PH3C2 in OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 small-form-factor chassis. It is a new unit built to the original L240AS-00, H240AS-01 and AC240AS-01 specifications for direct drop-in installation.
The unit accepts 100-240 V at 4.0 A across 50-60 Hz mains worldwide without a voltage selector switch. A single 240 W maximum rating covers all rails, so the same brick powers every listed OptiPlex SFF regardless of regional line voltage.
The 240 W limit comfortably runs the original processor, chipset, memory and integrated graphics in these chassis. It runs out when a discrete graphics card or multiple mechanical drives are added, so builders planning such upgrades need a higher-capacity design.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The unit is a sealed 240W power supply with no user-serviceable parts; long-term reliability depends on the internal fan and capacitors, which are not rated for field replacement.
The 240W maximum rating is the hard ceiling; sustained loads at or near that level will trigger over-current or thermal protection built into the L240AS-00 design.
With a 4.0A draw at 100-240V input, the supply dissipates waste heat inside the small-form-factor chassis; the internal fan will spin continuously under load, producing audible airflow noise typical of compact 240W units.
